Progress update

It has been a little bit hectic recently so these updates have not been as forthcoming as I would have liked.

With Part 1 of the race season now over (Block of 4 races in a row, NR Shropshire, Euro Champs in Athlone, Eastern Region Relays and then Worthing NR)it has been a steep conditioning curve back into Triathlon after the time I had off. It would have been nice to have had some local races to get some sharpness before heading straight into the national annd international events but Agegroupers have to work with what they've got!!

As you will see from my next race reports (ERR and Worthing) my form is getting there, it would just be nice to be able to train fully between events and build on the fitness I have. However I must admit I am pleased with my currebnt form considering.

About Me

My photo
As an ex-National League Basketball player I took up triathlon as a development from cross training. I won my first Sprint distance race and placed second in my first Olympic distance. Since then I have raced the UK Elite Superseries coming 24th in the National Elite Champs, raced Vegas 70.3 WChamps and helped Paratriathlete Iain Dawson to World, European and National Titles. In 2011 I obtained Pro authorisation from the BTF and am pushing my development by stepping up to top level competition in 2012. Aside from this I am a L1 Swim and Tri coach and Professional Lloyds Broker.
