The training is picking up pace and im feeling more and more positive about the season.

Had another strong 5k at Park run on Saturday, felt a little sluggish to start but managed to go within a few seconds of my course PB having just had my energy drained in a 90min sprint swim set (being 1 second off 100 PB and a couple of 50m PB......MIDSET!).

I completed a good tech session that evening and mid 18k run managed to knock off a circ 36 minute 10k (I ran 4k+ down to the local Tri-Anglia 10k cross country race joined in and ran back).

Legs were a little sore Monday (and my alarm gave me restbite as the batterys were flat) and I missed early doors swimming but made up for it Wednesday morning with a tough choppy session.

About Me

My photo
As an ex-National League Basketball player I took up triathlon as a development from cross training. I won my first Sprint distance race and placed second in my first Olympic distance. Since then I have raced the UK Elite Superseries coming 24th in the National Elite Champs, raced Vegas 70.3 WChamps and helped Paratriathlete Iain Dawson to World, European and National Titles. In 2011 I obtained Pro authorisation from the BTF and am pushing my development by stepping up to top level competition in 2012. Aside from this I am a L1 Swim and Tri coach and Professional Lloyds Broker.
